Keyboards & Mice in general
Please press the key combination FN + Num to activate/deactivate the emulated, integrated Num pad.
For the configuration of our programmable keyboards we place the free software tool MatrixMaker at your disposal.

Technical Questions in general
Unplug the USB-plug, restart the computer and make sure you have the rights for installing an USB device (administrator account). Subsequently plug in the USB-plug in another port than before.

The effective range is about 10m.
Basically all our keyboards are compatible with LINUX-based operating systems. As specific keys e.g. CMD are missing, Apple-based systems are only operable with limitations. Among other things in our hygiene & medical product range we offer a version of the AK-C7012 that is exclusively compatible with Apple/MAC-Based systems.
The batteries last up to 1 year depending on their quality and how often the product is used.
Yes. Rechargeable batteries (AA/AAA depending on the keyboard model) can be used for the keyboard/mouse. Please make sure not to under or overshot the prescribed supply voltage.
Hygiene & Medical Keyboards & Mice
No. Our covers are specifically made for Active Key products. Using them together with third party products we cannot grant neither any protection against liquids nor any comfort in writing.
Yes. For every hygiene keyboard with a removable cover the corresponding membranes can be purchased afterwards.
Yes. The touchpad surfaces are operable with gloves.
The key print of our hygiene keyboards is integrated in the material (like a tattoo). Therefore the print will not get in contact with liquids or friction (wipe disinfection) . The industrial keyboards are printed with a high quality print or laser procedure. Depending on the usage, the key print lasts the average using period of a normal PC.
Our hygiene keyboards with silicone cover are compatible with all clinical disinfection liquids in accordance with the VAH-List. Please avoid oily or greasy cleaning agents. Fuels like gasoline or diesel should also be avoided for cleaning.
Unlike the hygiene keyboards, our industrial keyboards with PU cover can be reprocessed with gasoline, diesel, oily or greasy cleaning agents.
Our hygiene keyboards and mice are designed for being cleaned after every usage.
No. Basically all our keyboards and mice are all without any antimicrobial Nano-Silver in order to protect the user as well as the environment.
The Clean Function avoids unintended data input while cleaning the keyboard. By pressing the combination FN + Clean ON/OFF disables the keyfield. By pressing the combination again the key field is enabled.
Only models which are specified for machine reprocessing are equipped with a immersable plug. The common USB-plug is not waterproof.
